Penny Arcade is the most famous web comic in the world. For more than a decade millions of fans have followed the misadventures of main characters Tycho and Gabe as they try to navigate their way through the culture of video game's, technology and the Dungeons and Dragons.
Since starting in 1998 Penny Arcade has added dozens of new characters, two yearly Expos (Penny Arcade Expo, or PAX, and PAX East), A TV show, and has founded a charity called Child's Play to buy toys and games for children in hospitals.
I was I could go to one of those events. They usually have some fun demos to play for upcoming games.
ReplyDeleteYeah, PAX is truly the new E3. As the PA guys describe it, the convention that always should have existed, but didn't.
